So you’ve downloaded iNaturalist and you’re not sure where to go from there? Don’t be intimidated!

The IMA relies on citizen science app iNaturalist to log the specimens we find on surveys. It’s an important tool for members, and your fellow fungi friend Keara Shipe is here to walk you through the basics!

This beginner-friendly tutorial will touch on what iNaturalist is and why we use it, as well as the ABCs of taking quality photos in the field, posting observations, and using the app to ID specimens.
