Our July lecture will feature guest speaker Dr. David Hibbett, who’s visiting us from Clark University in Massachusetts so he and his team can search for tiger sawgill mushrooms (Lentinus tigrinus). Tiger sawgills might appear to be regular, even drab-looking mushrooms, but looks can be deceiving. Come meet David and learn about what makes tiger sawgills some of the most unique mushrooms in North America, and find out how you can help him and his team find them on our survey that weekend.
