Colin Domnauer is a PhD candidate at the University of Utah whose research has taken him from the tropical forests of southern China to the remote mountains of the northern Philippines in search of an elusive mycological mystery: a hallucinogenic bolete mushroom said to produce visions of little people. In this talk, Colin will tell the story of these enigmatic mushrooms, from their cultural history to modern scientific relevance, interweaving his personal insights gained along the way.
